We refer to our earlier announcement dated 7 October 2020 in respect of the establishment of Sukuk Wakalah Programme.
Sunsuria is pleased to announce that the Company had on today, 14 October 2022 made its 2nd issuance of Sukuk Wakalah amounting to RM66.0 million in nominal value under the Sukuk Wakalah Programme. The Sukuk Wakalah issued has a tenure of three (3) years and will mature on 14 October 2025.
The rating of A+is with a stable outlook on the Sukuk Wakalah Programme had recently been affirmed by MARC Ratings Berhad on 15 September 2022.
Proceeds from the issuance of the Sukuk Wakalah shall be utilised by the Company to finance the capital expenditure, working capital requirements and/or investments as well as for general corporate purposes of the Issuer and its subsidiaries from time to time which shall be Shariah-compliant.
Maybank Investment Bank Berhad is the Sole Principal Adviser, Sole Lead Arranger and Sole Lead Manager for the Sukuk Wakalah Programme.
