Contents	The Board of Directors of MAICA ("the Board") wishes to announce that MAICA proposes to adopt a new set of Articles of Association for the Company ("Proposed Adoption"). The Proposed Adoption is to replace the existing Articles of Association ("Articles") of the Company in its entirety with new contents which is made to align the Company’s Articles with the new and/or amended provisions of the Listing Requirements, other prevailing statutory and regulatory requirements which have been revised to ensure compliance and to update the Company's Articles of Association, where relevant to render consistency throughout as well as to facilitate some administrative issues. A Circular to Shareholders which sets out among others the details of the Proposed Adoption will be issued together with the Company’s 2008 Annual Report. c.c. Securities Commission
