| Contents | The Board of Directors of MAICA (“the Board”) wishes to announce that Suradamai Sdn Bhd (“SSB”), a non-operating indirect subsidiary of the Company, had on 30 July 2009 applied to the Companies Commission of Malaysia (“CCM”) to strike off SSB and that CCM has in the exercise of the power conferred by subsection 308(4) of the Companies Act, 1965 struck off the name of SSB from the register of CCM. The strike-off of SSB has no material effect on the net assets and gearing of the Group for the financial year ending 31 March 2010. |
