| Contents | The Board of Directors of MAICA (“the Board”) wishes to announce that Malaysia Aica Foods Sdn Bhd (98916-M) (“Maica Foods”), a non-operating subsidiary of the Company, had on 17 September 2009 applied to the Companies Commission of Malaysia (“CCM”) to strike off Maica Foods and that CCM has on 5 May 2010 notified that it has exercised its power conferred by Section 308(4) of the Companies Act, 1965 and had struck off the name of Maica Foods from the register of CCM. The strike-off of Maica Foods has no material effect on the net assets and gearing of the Group for the financial year ended 31 March 2010. |
