Reference is made to Sunsuria Berhad's ("Sunsuria" or "the Company") previous announcements dated 28 June 2017, 3 August 2017 and 21 November 2017 in respect of the Joint Venture between Sunsuria Builders Sdn Bhd (Formerly known as Goodwill Atlas Sdn Bhd) ("SBSB"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, and Citicc International Investment Ltd ("CITIC") ("Announcements"). Unless otherwise stated, the definitions used herein shall have the same meanings as set out in the Announcements.

The Board of Directors wishes to announce that the Company has today received confirmation from CITIC, via an acceptance in writing dated 18 December 2017, agreeing to SBSB's request for a further extension of time for an additional four (4) months until 27 April 2018 for Sunsuria to procure its shareholders' approval for the diversification of the business of Sunsuria Group to include construction and related businesses in compliance with Paragraph 10.13 of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.
