Pursuant to Paragraph 9.19(23) of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, the Board of Directors of Sunsuria wishes to announce that Library Mall Development Sdn Bhd (“LMDSB”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, has on 14 February 2018, acquired 100% equity interest of Dreamsphere Sdn Bhd (“DSB”) comprising of one (1) ordinary share in DSB for a cash consideration of RM1.00. The said acquisition has been completed today and DSB has become a wholly-owned indirect subsidiary of the Company.

DSB was incorporated on 22 January 2018 as a private limited company under the Companies Act, 2016 with an issued share capital of one (1) ordinary share. DSB is currently a dormant company and has not commenced any business operation since the date of its incorporation. The intended principal activities of DSB will be in the business of general trading, real property holding, investment holding, etc.

The acquisition of DSB is not expected to have any material effect on the earnings or net assets of the Sunsuria and its subsidiaries for the financial year ending 30 September 2018.

None of the Directors and/or major shareholders of the Company or any persons connected to them have any direct or indirect interest in the above acquisition.
